Professional with more than 14 years of experience in sustainable development, governance, climate change, forests, participation, transparency and access to information. She has extensive experience in leadership and facilitation of multi-sectoral participatory processes with an integrated approach (both at national and sub-national levels) as well as in coordination, implementation and monitoring of programs and projects. Mireya holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Lincoln in New Zealand and a Bachelor’s Degree in tourism with a minor in ecotourism from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. In 2015, she joins FFLA as Project Coordinator and additionally serves as CDKN Focal Point in Ecuador.
