Paola Zavala

Professional with 30 years of experience in project management in conservation, climate change, integrated water management and disaster response. Prior to FFLA she worked as a Project Management Specialist for USAID/Ecuador. In recent years, as a specialist in financial mechanisms for conservation, adaptation and mitigation, she provided technical support in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, Bolivia, Honduras, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. Paola holds a B.A. in Management for Sustainable Local Development, an M.Sc. in Environmental Audits and Management with a major in Management of Natural Areas; and an M.B.A. in Environmental Business. In 2019, she joins FFLA as CEPF (Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund) Coordinator for Ecuador and since 2020 she is coordinator and focal point for the Adaptation Fund Network and assumes the Coordination of the Natural Resources Management and Climate Change Program for FFLA.
