Dialogue and consultation for sustainable development

Within this framework, our program is justified and proposed, which promotes through dialogue and agreement a path to achieve the proposals of the 2030 Agenda. This program is based on knowledge management for the development of citizen culture around objectives clearly defined by the 17 SDGs. It proposes and implements governance models 10AT Territorial projects aimed at sustainable development, based on the construction and consolidation of citizen and institutional networks, knowledge management around the fulfillment of SDGs, and in general partnerships, enhancing the 2030 agenda with key actors of civil society, forming and generating synergies in the so-called third sector.

The 2030 Agenda, coincided with another historic agreement concluded in 2015, the Paris Agreement adopted at the Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP21). Together with the New Urban Agenda (2016), the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015) and the Aichi Convention on Biodiversity (2011) it provides a set of common standards and feasible targets for countries to materialize Sustainable Development in their Development Plans. Some of the aforementioned agreements are mandatory and dialogue and participation are also mandatory.
